Shady Oaks Park Guidelines

RV's may not be more than 10 years old and must meet our safety and appearance standards. We do not allow RV's smaller than 26 feet, tents, popups, vans, pickup or stock trailer campers. RV's must be self-contained. Sewer rings are mandatory for sewer hookups and leaks of any type are strictly prohibited. A maximum of 6 people per site and tents are NOT allowed on RV sites.

RV's may not be used as a primary resident and lived in on a fulltime day to day basis. Only seasonal guest (Winter Texans and fulltime RV'er) will be allowed to live in their RV on a day to day basis and only for a maximum term of 5 months. Shady Oaks does encourage all their guest to come and use their RV as much as possible but not on a full-time basis.

A maximum of 2 pets are allowed, however dogs that bark excessively or are aggressive or disruptive will not be permitted in the park. Pets must always be leashed when they are outside your RV and waste must always be properly disposed of. Pets may not be left unattended outside your RV. Uncontrolled, excessive barking (inside or outside your RV) is not tolerated. Pet owners who do not comply with our pet policies will be asked to leave the pet at home of leave the park.

Due to our steep and short launch ramp, only small boats of 18 feet or less are allowed to launch from it. Also, because of safety concerns due to the presence of many shallow subsurface rocks in the river, large boats and jet skis are not allowed to launch from our ramp. However, people with ski boats and jet skis are welcome to stay at our park and use the nearby water sports lakes (Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, Lake LBJ).

Rates are based on a maximum of 6 persons per site, 1 RV & 2 Vehicles.
